My initial ideas for the gifs was to explore the word "Fresh". This came from looking up synonyms from words that are associated with Experimental Pop and tried to select one that wouldn't be obvious but would link. From 'innovative', I got the word 'fresh' which is meant to represent the idea of it being new and upcoming which is representative of experimental pop as it's becoming very popular and quite mainstream through artists such as Charli XCX however I chose to explore it using literal imagery of 'fresh' through fruit stickers and images of sea life from a National Geographic book. This is to explore the idea of grocery store fresh produce however not create a direct representation of a grocery store to mimic the innovativeness and referencing that Experimental Pop has.
I find that the pink one is most successful in being translatable to a vinyl as it follows a two colour scheme that is the aim with screen printing and still represents the idea of fresh through its vibrant colours. However overall I'm not entirely happy with any of the gifs and I found this process difficult as it's very outside of my comfort zone. To further explore this I would experiment with different imagery and possibly a completely different theme.
