Due to the cost and accessibility issues I'm facing with using a Risograph printer, I've decided to continue on with the bitmapped image method from my print experimentations based on crit feedback. I need to decide on a fixed method or range for my bitmaps so that my book feels more consistent and professional as the other processes are quite unpredictable and hectic.
F: 30
A: 20
F: 60
A: 70
Test 3:
F: 120
A: 60
Best is a range between 50-60 frequency dependant on the original image size/dpi and any angle that isn't 0, 45, 90 or 180 etc as this would just provide straight lines of bitmap rather than variation. If an image is to be added ontop to imitate a Risograph, the frequency would need to be lower and the angle double the original angle. For example if the initial image was F:50 A:60, the second layer should be F:40 A:120.
