Forming the shapes:
Inspired by the cell shapes and bold but simple symbolisms found in the Practical Research, I collected the flora that are too hard to press, or have interesting stems that could also translate into symbolism resembling cells as it creates the direct link to human nature, and natural.
All the symbols communicate a form or sense of growth and nature as a way of representing not only the naturalness of migration, but also how a community can flourish and see positive growth with new communities.
Using a paint marker to print the stamps creates an interesting stamp, and allows me to experiment with being selective of what parts are printed which can create new forms or ways of connecting the data.
