• Testing knitting and rag rug making for the first time - having to learn the basics such as how to knot and how much yarn is needed
• First issue is how time consuming the process is 
• Next issues were the rag rug base falling apart - need to not cut so close to the edge I will be using or superglue around the outside before beginning to knit. Also not pulling the yarn too hard helps prevent this
• Began my first typeface with rule of using 3 grids wide vertical and 2 horizontal - looks quite digital already almost like binary codes
• Want to alter this starting point typeface only through physically knitting it as I don't think would translate if I did it physically then knitted it - want to stick to trying to make the font seem digital
