measured a film canister - 5 cm. 5 cm x as long as a3. got my initial map path as a starting point but the issue is that it does not fit however i wont need the directions as the actual guide as i will be using time estimate to walk inbetween and clues/locations as i had issues with gps.

adjusted the path to fit into the format as a guide for where text should go.

for the first idea i took the third typeface and its order within the actual map however as i didnt like many features of the map i decided id use this to create my own map

from the order of the text, i used very short kerning to combine the text in an order to create an imitation of a path. the bolder text works better as thinner strokes show the gaps within the text more, breaking the imitation of the path.

made all the words of the locations keeping them in the same angle and began to join them up.
