Making a legible typeface

This typeface was created as a solution to the issue of none of the previous typefaces being legible at smaller sizes as the format of
the map is 5 cm in height. It is based on typeface 1’s attributes as this typeface is being used for the line within the map therefore it includes open counters, except for the uppercase “O”, and combines the use of both curved and angled lines. However, there is an even cap-height, baseline and x-height along with serifs to allow it to be legible. However some serifs have been removed to connote a less serious tone and also encompass the experience of geocaching being unpredictable within the typeface itself.
