The module overall started off very interesting and engaging as having to think about it over summer allowed me to be in the right mindset to start developing ideas for it. However the biggest issue I faced was getting into structure of time management and concise development which was then challenged even more by studio brief 2 which I felt was too difficult to be an accompanying brief while work from other modules are stacking up as creating animations, especially using After Effects, and creating user flows and wireframes etc were very new. The contrast between the amount of manual labour I had to put into studio brief 1 in comparison to how quick paced studio brief 2 made me slack on my screen designs. Although screen based design is not exactly my preference, especially as it's not something I've really experienced creating such as in level 4, I didn't find the brief to be as engaging as brief 1 so my outcome for it definitely is not at the same level.
My time management is definitely to blame as well. Orlando was supportive with PPP with allowing us to take it slow while we worked towards the end of OUGD504 whereas my COP work was piling up as the amount of work I was putting into trying to catch up with 504 made me slack in those modules.
This module was pretty challenging and my time management issues and my personal issues which I worked through with welfare did have a big effect on my SB2 outcome and I wish I put more effort into trying to get used to screen based design so that it wasn't as difficult however it was all a good introduction into the intensity and pace of level 5.
