Final Text Poster

To further the design, I layered the texts over each other with one being more transparent using the multiply layer style and the other being opaque and normal to suggest the idea of plastic being stacked or there being masses of it. The grey is used as the background emphasise the transparency as it acts as a mid tone which provides less impact than black and white but does suggest the murkiness and transparency. The text can also remain white as it's still passable as being transparent to the background through shadings therefore the text itself is impactful through contrasts in the shading and highlights but still conveying the idea of plastic.

Final poster pasted up. When printing, I faced many issues with the image size as it's got a lot of detail and therefore a large file size and had to reduce this file size to 250 dpi to get it to print without crashing Acrobat which sacrificed the colour quality as it came out much darker than the original.
