Image Poster Development

Layering the images using different layer styles such as multiply, divide and subtract as they allow for some transparency which shows all the layers of items. The juxtaposition conveys the negative impact and there's no clear focal point - masses of pollution and they all contribute.

Using just subtract and two images to distinctively show their shapes and create the negative effect. On top of the ocean to create a pattern and the association between plastic and the ocean to suggest the focus on marine pollution.

Explores the idea of depth as explored with the scans as the use of perspective with some items being clear and stark in the foreground while others blur into the background signifies plastic being thrown into water.

Inspired by Mandy Baker as the images are organised to suggest them being stuck within an ocean currant. The images follow more of a curve rather than a wave to suggest fluidity to represent the idea of motion within water.

Continuing the images and flow to the edge of the poster to suggest that plastic pollution is in the masses and is ongoing and will cause long lasting damage.
